No matter how much we describe this space to you without seeing the photos, you cannot understand the huge change that has taken place here. Connected to the Glam Sitting Room, this is the main living space that is the "heart" of the home where entertaining happens. The purpose of the room was to be able to have family sit together in a relaxed setting. The room started off a lot smaller. The end of what you see now had an additional room at the end and an opening to the kitchen on the right which didn't make sense. We took it out, closed off the original kitchen entry and made this a longer room. The second fireplace wall was knocked out and now opens up to the dining room and staircase where a beautiful, soft, sheepskin chair sits. The beautiful exterior of the accent chairs mirror the incredible credenza. We chose to place two sofas across from each other to accommodate more seating. Texture is so important in this special home. Imagine feeling the soft velvet on the accent pillows and gazing upon the vivid artwork that brings this space to life. It's hard to believe that this was the same space when you look at the before photos!
